A theatrical feature documentary, with an accompanying 3-part box set series, to be released 2027, marks the 50th anniversary of Bowie’s first two, seminal Berlin albums, “Low” and “Heroes”.

This project explores the influence of Berlin, its power of transformation for the artists living and working there - from the late 70s through to today and the anonymity and attraction of the divided city. We explore the city, the music, fashion and art scenes prevailing in Berlin and the impact on David Bowie and Iggy Pop during their years in the city (1976– 1979) as we look at the importance of Hansa Studios and the plethora of musicians that followed to Berlin in Bowie’s wake. From Depeche Mode, U2, REM through to Yungblud and Harry Styles.
